Students Activities and Recreation

Students’ Activities and Recreation Unit (SARU) provides students with diverse opportunities for practical experience through co-curricular activities organised throughout the year. Students are encouraged to participate actively in these activities, as they provide valuable hands-on experience for leadership and character development.

The mission of the SARU is to enhance the overall educational experiences of UCSI University students through participation in social, cultural, intellectual, recreational, community services and campus governance programmes. SARU works very closely with UCSI University’s Student Council to nurture student clubs and associations, and to ensure that activities and programmes are aimed at developing students in a personally and eventually professional capacity.

Angelina Tan Yu Ting
BA (Hons) Interior Architecture

To Angelina Tan, a winning design is more than just a fancy sketch. Sustainability matters and Angelina employs adaptive redesign to turn dilapidated interiors into works of art. The same focus applies to heritage. Although it often requires more effort, Angelina derives great joy in preserving and magnifying the uniqueness of each site she works on
